SOLIDWORKS has started to release updates to the software in service packs throughout the year rather than just when the latest year of SOLIDWORKS is made available. We have already seen some stealthy enhancements released for SOLIDWORKS Electrical in different service packs, but in SOLIDWORKS 2024 SP3 there is an Annotate tab implemented into the Electrical Schematic interface when the proper document is open. Using the Annotate tab, users can make changes to 2D drawings created in 3D in the Electrical Schematic environment, saving time and making easier to customize Electrical drawings.

In this webinar we will save a 2D drawing out of SOLIDWORKS Electrical 3D and see what modifications we can make to the drawing in SOLIDWORKS Electrical Schematic.
