The SOLIDWORKS Skills Assessment Tool has been designed to be a straightforward and accessible method for users to test their understanding of SOLIDWORKS so that they can prove their skills and highlight areas for improvement. The Foundation Level test challenges your knowledge of core SOLIDWORKS principles, assesses your current skill level, and provides you with a key learning path tailored to you. All you need to take the test is a computer with SOLIDWORKS 2018 or later installed and an internet connection. Take the test at time that suits you in your schedule, and once you've finished, you'll receive your results immediately via email. To find out your SOLIDWORKS skill level, take the test on the Solid Solutions website. You can find it within the main menu under training, through our training pages or via the link in the description of this video. You'll need to be logged into your My Solid Solutions account to take the test, and any tests you take will be recorded to your account and can be viewed at the bottom of the page. Double check your eligibility and then click Launch Skills Assessment Tool to launch the test. Enter your name, the preferred email address for us to send your results to. The tool may have auto populated these fields, so please be sure to double check your email is correct. Choose the assessment you want to do and read the on screen information carefully. We recommend starting with the 30 minute sample paper first so you can familiarise yourself with the testing environment. Then when you're ready, move on to the 60 minute SOLIDWORKS Foundation assessment to put your SOLIDWORKS skills to the test and get your results. Just like a SOLIDWORKS certification exam, you'll be asked a series of questions that will test both your knowledge of the software and practical SOLIDWORKS skills. You'll be asked a series of questions that require you to create or evaluate models in SOLIDWORKS, and then type values or select from multiple choice options to answer. Read the questions carefully and take your time to answer every question accurately. We also recommend saving a new copy of your files at the start of each new question. The test will be timed, but you can submit your answers at any time to end it early. When you submit your answers, you'll receive your results immediately via an on screen score and an email summary of your assessment.
