Shopfloor Programmer Role is the foundation of the CAM offerings,
and it's now included for all 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS and SOLIDWORKS
with cloud services customers.
It lets you program three plus two axis.
This is where the machine axis
can move into position,
but stay stationary while cutting.
All of the DELMIA cam offerings
come with the ability
to view a virtual twin of your machining,
so this means the machine
representation on your screen matches
the machine kinematics of your shop floor.
Every seat of Shopfloor programmer
comes with access
to the manufacturability Checker app.
This app checks
the geometry of the part made machined
with the actual kinematics
of your CNC machine.
Its easy to follow interface lets users
check parts before quoting.
It also allows you
to make repairs to the parts if needed.
The process for nesting parts
is really easy.
Simply select your parts from SolidWorks
or the 3D experience platform.
Enter the amount required
and the nest is computed.
tool paths are simple to create
and can be created
for a variety of machines, including laser
cutters, water jets, and routers.
A single point cutting toolpath
can be created by selecting
a single contour, automatically
propagating to all other instances,
and then computing the toolpath.
From here, we can visualize the CNC
machine cutting out the geometry
that has been defined in the toolpath.
Before we run anything
live on the machine.
Another great addition to the shop floor
program is the ability to program wire
EDM machines.
This allows you to cut profiles
that are not possible
using a traditional CNC machine.
With the ability to define cut sequence,
number of finish passes and adding taper
along with a simple toolpath simulation.
This ensures they have full control
of your machining process before
you take it to the machine.
