So the manufacturing showcase event
we put together to introduce our customers
not just to our production software,
but also to key partners that we work with
in the industry.
I'm Nick
Jones,
manufacturing manager at Solid Solutions,
and our team is geared up
to convert things that people designed
in SOLIDWORKS down onto the shop floor
in real life
production.
So we had a great manufacturing
event last year, so we were really excited
to do the same thing this year
about making it bigger and better.
So we really pleased
that our partners were engaged
and committed to come and join us again.
And obviously with the turnout
with the customers shows real interest
in the products we've got to offer.
So Emuge Franken
and have been several years now
in partnership with Solid Solutions UK.
We work very well together.
We work on the same wavelength
where strategies.
Partnerships.
Understanding
each other's industries is very important
in solving problems
for the CAD/CAM industry.
So this is
actually our second year
at the manufacturing showcase.
We came last year
as we were invited by Solid Solutions.
We did not know what to expect as
we did not know very much about them.
the event was very, very good.
We we did a lot of great networking.
and since then we've had a number
of projects closely together
with SWOOD
successfully with, with customers.
Hence we were invited again to this year's
one and we've decided to come.
And once again, the first day
has been very positive so far.
I think for me the highlight was meeting
and connecting with a lot of new customers
that I'd never seen or heard of
before from different industries
that might not be directly linked,
but we can still assist them
in some way or another.
I think my favorite
part of the manufacturing showcase
this year is seeing familiar faces
from last year,
and hearing how they got on
from what I had learned last time.
So now moving on and seeing
how new features and new technology
could solve their future problems.
And hopefully we see them again next year.
