Video Tech Tips [VTT]
Import a SOLIDWORKS Composer Assembly into a PowerPoint Project
In today's video, we are going to demonstrate how you can embed a SOLIDWORKS Composer player directly into a PowerPoint project. To begin, the first thing to do is to pay attention to your naming convention in Composer because the custom buttons inside PowerPoint will link to these different views. In this example, I've got two different views. One name is titled "default" and one is named "BOM". To do this inside PowerPoint, I'll need to ensure the developer tool tab has been turned on. This can be done from the file dropdown menu under options, go to the Customize Ribbon tab and ensure the developer feature has been checked on. Slide two in the PowerPoint is where I'm going to embed the composer player. To see how this is done in detail, watch the video so you can apply this to your Composer projects.
