A sphere in SOLIDWORKS is created using one sketch and a revolve feature. Sketch half the profile—either by drawing a circle and trimming one side or using a three‑point arc—then apply a 360° Revolve Boss/Base to form a solid sphere with mass. To create a surface sphere instead, use Revolve Surface, producing an infinitely thin, zero‑mass surface body.
