new SHINING 3D FreeScan Trak Nova.
This is a huge leap forward
in the 3D scanning world.
Being both a wireless
and a three in one tracked system.
The Trak Nova
consists of two scanners, the TE Nova
and the UE Nova,
both of which can be used
standalone scanning systems
or combined in a wireless
and markerless scanning setup.
So this is the TE Nova.
And this part works
just like your traditional handheld
3D scanner.
It's got 50 cross laser lines
for super high
scanning speed
and 20 microns of metrology
grade accuracy.
This is the part of the system
you'd usually use
for your smaller 3D parts.
Now both the TE
Nova and the UE
Nova can be used in conjunction
as a wireless tracked system
with no markers.
Now this is really great
for your larger parts,
which still need
very high level of detail.
The UE Nova has got a 3.5 metre
tracking range
and also supports leapfrogging.
So you can extend this without limits.
And the third mode,
which is unique to this system,
is you can actually use the UE
Nova as a standalone 3D scanner itself.
It's got a massive 2.2 metre field of view,
so you can scan your really large parts
super fast,
and then go and fill
in all the tiny details,
like your threads with the TE Nova.
Now because the UE
Nova is a 3D scanner
itself,
this enables another unique feature
to this system.
When using both combined
in the track setup,
you can dynamically move
the tracking bar
to extend your tracking volume.
And this means
that you don't have to do
multiple scans
and stitch them all
together at the end.
