SOLIDWORKS Inspection 2019 introduces enhanced functionality for creating inspection documents. Integrated with SOLIDWORKS and available as a standalone tool, it automates ballooning for drawings, PDFs, DXFs, and 3D files, generating first article inspection reports in PDF and Excel formats. New features include custom property support, automatic extraction and ballooning of hole tables, improved character recognition grouping, and drawing zone information for easier identification. Users can group or mark key dimensions, customize balloon positions, and import CMM data. The standalone version now integrates fully with PDM, ensuring version control and streamlined collaboration between quality and design teams.
