The Promise and Reality of Augmented Reality in Manufacturing

July 23, 2024 10:00 AM America/New_York

Recent developments in augmented reality have made it more flexible and easier to integrate in manufacturing. The applications include guided work instructions, automated inspection, and visual feedback as part of assembly operations.

Join us as TriMech Product Manager, Joe Hugan introduces the augmented reality solutions from Dassault Systems and provides demonstrations of the technology in manufacturing settings. This webinar will include a review of the interface used to develop the solutions and the interface used on the manufacturing floor as part of the application. We will conclude with examples of applications in the industry and the productivity gains realized.

During this Augmented Reality Webinar, you will learn:

  • Technology in the augmented reality space has become easier to integrate into manufacturing
  • The interface used to develop these applications is easy to use and relatively inexpensive
  • The productivity gains and labor reduction from automated inspection provide a competitive advantage to companies that embrace augmented reality
  • These solutions provide flexibility and ease of setup not previously found in AR/VR applications
