The example demonstrates creating an architectural grille model in SOLIDWORKS using a custom library of profiles including RSA, frame and blade sketches. Once the library is built, new jobs are produced quickly by adjusting key sketch dimensions. Frames and RSA members are driven by sketches, blades are positioned with a reference sketch and patterned automatically at 50 mm spacing. Changing height updates all patterned elements and the cut list. A drawing is generated with sections, dimensions and a complete cut list for fabrication.
