Robotic Simulation in the Aerospace Industry

On-demand

The Aerospace Industry has many complex systems in place to help ensure safety and efficiency when working with specialized materials, regulations, and a multitude of advanced engineering systems. With all the complexity, it is paramount to have tools in place that not only help handle day to day tasks but also achieve project goals across the entire product development cycle. One of the more challenging tasks is programming robotic cells and ensuring that cycle times are quick, movement is efficient, and everything is done safely. Typically, this is done by shutting the assembly line down and programming movements which leads to costly downtime. Fortunately, there are tools on 3DEXPERIENCE platform from Dassault Systemes has tools in place that can help offline program robots to allow for quicker changeover between tasks.

Join us as TriMech Product Manager, Joe Hugan, guides us through available tools and modeling approaches aimed specifically at the Aerospace Industry. We’ll start with gaining a fundamental understanding of the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform and how we can use it for collaboration. From here, we’ll dive deeper into functional examples of painting, riveting, and drilling using 3DEXPERIENCE Robotic Programming tools. Finally, Joe discusses potential next steps for a future Robotic Programming Implementation.

During this aerospace webinar, you will learn:

  • An understanding of the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform from Dassault  Systemes

  • Examples of Robotic Painting, Drilling, Riveting applications for the Aerospace Industry

  • An overview of the Dassault licensing model for the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform

  • Potential next steps for implementing and evaluating these solutions within your organization.
