The calibration process begins by importing
test data into the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
The test data can be generated at a commercial
material testing lab or at an in-house test facility.
Multiple data formats are supported.
Once inside the app,
tools are available to smooth,
decimate,
and otherwise prepare the data for calibration.
The user next chooses from a range of
available simulation material models.
Internally,
the app replicates the test sequence and user optimization
techniques to transform test data into the material
model parameters needed for realistic simulation.
Once a suitable calibration has been achieved,
the material parameters are then saved to the
3DEXPERIENCE platform where they can be applied to simulations
and shared across the development organization.
