Alin Vargatu
As an Elite AE and Senior Training and Process Consultant, with an expertise in Large Assembly and Drawing Management, Alin Vargatu is a problem solver and an avid contributor to the SOLIDWORKS community. He has presented over thirty times at 3DEXPERIENCE and SOLIDWORKS World, twice at SLUGME and multiple times at SWUG meetings, organized by four different user groups in Canada and one in the United States. Alin is also very active on SOLIDWORKS forums. His blog and YouTube channel are well known in the SOLIDWORKS Community. He is the author of the Large Assembly and Drawing Workshop. In recognition for his contribution to the SOLIDWORKS Community, the SOLIDWORKS User Group Network awarded Alin the SOLIDWORKS Reseller AE of the Year award at 3DEXPERIENCE World 2021.
Alan Sweetenham
Alan manages our division providing optimal Dell Precision Workstations for use with SOLIDWORKS and other Dassault Systèmes solutions.
A product designer by training Alan is a SOLIDWORKS Elite Applications engineer with over 15 years experience in various technical roles with Solid Solutions in the UK. Alan now heads up our TriMech group Workstation business, providing advice on the optimal workstations to run SOLIDWORKS and Dassault Systèmes products, based on real world testing with engineering datasets. With team of engineers bringing in depth knowledge of the various software solutions we can evaluate the entire customer environment rather than simple the PC in isolation, advising on best practices for software alongside the hardware.
Don Breda
Don manages NVIDIA's strategic alliance with DS SOLIDWORKS and other software vendors in the manufacturing and architectural software industries.
Don combines 8 years of experience in the computer hardware industry at NVIDIA with 18 years of experience in computer software, including 15 years in manufacturing software. His previous roles include CAD product manager, direct and reseller application engineer, technical support engineer, and software engineer. Prior to that, Don worked for 4 years in engineering and construction as a design engineer and construction cost estimator.
Matt Allard
Matt leads the Strategic Alliances and Solutions team for the Dell Performance PC product group, working closely with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), customers and technology partners across multiple industries. He has more than 20 years of experience within the tech sector, and prior to Dell, he held marketing and product management roles at Autodesk, Avid Technology, Schneider Electric, Microsoft Softimage, Media 100 and X-Rite. Matthew lives with his family in the greater Boston area and loves movies, seafood and checking out live bands.
