Solid solutions provide a wide range
of training courses, all of which
are classroom based and led by one of our
highly trained application engineers.
It's always essential.
School is designed to introduce you
to 3D part and assembly modeling
and 2D drawing creation
over the course of four days.
You'll have the chance to learn the key
areas of the software and gain
a wealth of new skills and knowledge.
We welcome all levels of user
to this event.
Whether you're a beginner, an infrequent
user, or an intermediate to advanced user,
perhaps migrating from another package
or with existing SolidWorks experience
for new users, knowledge of CAD
isn't required before attending.
This will begin
by covering the fundamentals before
moving onto any more advanced topics.
If you're keen to get started before
attending, you may find it
useful to try the tutorials
available inside SolidWorks.
Click on the Welcome to SolidWorks
Icon to access
a number of guided tutorials
in the Getting started section.
Most importantly, though,
your instructor will be with you
throughout the course
to guide you all the way.
The more experienced users,
this is a great opportunity
to recap the fundamentals of the software
and brush up on your knowledge
about forgotten functionality.
In our experience,
many good users lack basic
exposure to advanced model management
features,
such as configurations, design
tables, forming edits and repairs.
In addition to this, you're instructor
will demonstrate useful tips
and shortcuts during each lesson,
allowing you to boost your productivity.
And throughout the course,
you'll be challenged further by
self-study exercises
between the main lessons
over the course
of the four days of training.
One of the fundamentals is learning
the importance of design intent
and how,
considering this at the start of a design,
can save time during construction
and when making changes
during the modeling phase, you can expect
to learn sketching from first principles
right through to advanced techniques.
Combine
this with the various commands will cover
and you'll soon be able to model
a wide range of designs efficiently
and make sure that they are easily
adaptable to design.
Changes will demonstrate
bottom up assembly modeling techniques
to show how parts can interact
with each other.
To mimic the movement,
they would experience the real world.
2D Drawing creation is simple
in SolidWorks, with the design work
all done in the partner assembly,
they will show you how to make use
of a number of automation tools
to create views, annotations and tables.
