The 3D experience platform is built for all businesses to collaborate and manage their files. But not all businesses run the same way. Which is why there are lots of options and tools to configure your platform, allowing you to tailor it to your needs. Each company will assign their own platform administrator to establish and manage their platform. Our 3D Experience Administration webinars are there to guide these administrators around the most important features, tools and options. These webinars are supplementary to our implementation services. Every customer with an implementation service is invited to join the webinar in advance to familiarize themselves with both the capabilities of the platform and the options within. Our objectives for the webinar. Simple. Familiarize you with the user interface. Help you understand roles and users. And build your confidence in the best way to optimize the platform for your team. First, we'll tackle the big question is the platform and what can it do? We address these key questions through a guided platform tour. Diving into the navigation compass and the platform administration dashboard explaining the functionality as we go. We'll also take you through key terms like tenants, dashboards and and particularly important for the administrators, the members. After we lay the foundations of platform understanding, we'll jump across to SOLIDWORKS to explore the seamless integration from CAD to cloud via the collaborative designer for SOLIDWORKS role. Saving your CAD files for the platform is easy, and we'll show you how to add revisions, set maturity states, and add to bookmarks as the admin for your platform. Managing your teammates with the members management tools is imperative. We'll take you through how to invite members to your platform and manage the access rights that they have. This is crucial for discerning access privileges between full time and temporary members of staff, such as contractors that need access to specific job files at a specific time. The multitude of apps that you have access to on the platform can be arranged using dashboards. In the webinar, we'll show you how to create, modify, and share these dashboards and give you tips for best dashboard practices For scenarios where you want to restrict access for different users. Collaborative spaces can be used. User access to each space is designated by the platform admin, giving you control over which projects and files a user can work with. We'll take you through how to both set up these collaborative spaces, and how to assign them to a user. We'll also look at attribute mapping, which allows you to take custom properties from SOLIDWORKS and translate them across to the platform. A great benefit of attribute mapping is that you can save properties as searchable tags, allowing you to pull up a file far quicker than browsing through layers of folders. When it comes to the approval of your Cat files, the 3D expansion platform comes with approval tools right out of the box, In our webinar, we'll show you how to create an end to end approval workflow from management, assigning the engineer task to receiving a notification with the task complete and ready to approve.
