SolidWorks Visualize
connects to the 3DExperience platform via
the SolidWorks connector,
including the SolidWorks cloud services,
or directly by using Visualize Connected.
This allows your Visualize projects
to be governed using the data management
built into the 3DExperience platform.
This can be launched by selecting a render
with SolidWorks Visualize
app on your dashboard
or connect to your tenant via
the My Sessions panel.
The best method of importing
your CAD into Visualize
is to simply drag
and drop the files with My Sessions panel.
Files can be located
by using handy bookmarks
or use the extensive search functionality.
Once a model has been imported
the visualization workflow is the same
as any Visualize project.
Simply apply your appearances, set
your scenes,
adjust
your lighting and specify your cameras.
Animations can be created via keyframes
or importing any preexisting animations
from SolidWorks.

from working on the same file
at the same time.
Full lifecycle maturity can be accessed
directly via the My Session panel.
Progressing through the approval process.
As a Visualize

To do this
we can either reload from server,
bring the latest version
from the 3DExperience platform, or specify

by choosing replace by revision.
If your organisations define change
process root,
change actions can be selected.
Automating the approval process
and notify the appropriate approvers.
Aside managing a project,
the rendered content can be uploaded
to 3D swim communities, ideal for sharing
designs internally and allowing
collaboration within the design team.
