Component, Symbols and Manufacturer Parts
This video explains how components act as the central objects in an electrical design, holding metadata such as marks, locations and functions, and being represented by various symbols. Symbols provide the graphical form of a component and may include attributes and connection points, with multiple symbols often representing a single device. Manufacturer parts define real‑world items to be purchased and installed, including references, classes and circuits. The video demonstrates how parts are associated with components, how circuits are matched, and how libraries for symbols and parts can be created, imported and managed.
